How does the Triple Gym attach to a doorway?

The Triple Door Gym install's on a doorway by using leverage, a support bar goes around the back of the doorway on top of the trim and another bar comes across the front of the door, they effectively squeeze in on the solid uprights of the doorway rather than pulling down on the weaker trim.

What size doorway will the Triple Gym work on?

Can you adjust the width of the dip bars?

Yes the extension or dip bars of the Triple Gym are adjustable, there are three holes on each side which gives 4 different widths for doing bodyweight dips and the other exercises. Common opinion is that the most comfortable width for doing exercises like dips, bodyweight rows, leg raises and other bodyweight exercises is the middle holes.

All exercises preformed on the Triple Gym should be done in a controlled manner, no kipping or jerking movements should be performed, using any sort of jerking, jumping or kipping could cause the Triple Gym to dislodge from the doorway and could cause injury to the user.

Should the Triple Gym be left in the doorway when not in use?

The Triple Gym should not be left in a doorway when not in use. If the Triple Gym is being used for pullups or chinups or hanging leg raises using only the pullup bar then the extension or dip bars should not be hooked onto the pullup bar. Also if the extension or dip bars are being used for dips or bodyweight rows or any other exercise then the suspension straps should not be hooked onto the dip bars or the pullup bars.
